Greetings in the name of the I AM..

The Lord wants something from you.  He wants your un-divided,
un-distracted and un-wavering affection.  Man's vain attempts to
find God or experience Him through rituals, institutions,
organizations or programs are religion.  God has been pursuing
you before you even knew He existed.  The Word of God clearly
shows this in many places.

Years ago there was a catchy phrase used by a soft-drink company.
It was the "Un-Cola."  A Cola that really wasn't a cola at all.
The idea was that Cola was so popular that the company wanted to
use the demand for this drink and redirect that demand from the
Cola to the Un-Cola.  They wanted people to buy their drink.

Once there was a woman who had a demand.  It was a demand for
water and she was busy going about the work of getting that water
to drink.  She needed what the water provided.  She was looking
for something in the natural but God wanted her to experience
what He had for her and He met her apart from any plan of her own.

  "Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this
  water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water
  that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I
  shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into
  everlasting life." Joh 4:13,14

What is this water that Jesus wanted to give her?  It was the
Living Water.  It was Himself...  His desire was for her and for
her to know Him.  In the scriptures, the word "know" meant to be
intimate (of the most kind), to find out, to be made known and
revealed and to be instructed.  Jesus was desiring the most
intimate of relationships with her as He is with you.  He wants
to *KNOW* you and wants you to *KNOW* Him.  This is a
relationship of the deepest, most passionate, revealing and
learning type.  It is like unto the kind of relationship that a
man yearns for with a woman that he must have and is consumed by.

This is not a program, institution or ritual or building.  It is
the Un-Religion.

God wants your UN-DIVIDED affection

  "For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name
  is Jealous, is a jealous God" Exo 34:14

Notice that the Lord not only wants your affection but His very
name is Jealous.  It means "only of God." This means He does not
want to share intimacy with anyone or anything.  This is how
much He longs for you.  He doesn't want 85% of your affection
and the remaining desires are spread among something or someone
else.  Look at how the apostle Paul says it:

  "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have
  espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste
  virgin to Christ." 2Cor 11:2

Paul wrote this UNDER THE INSPIRATION OF THE HOLY GHOST.  This is
the Lord's language.  It is HE talking about YOU.  The Husband He
desires you to be espoused (joined as one) with is Himself!

God wants your UN-DISTRACTED affection

The Webster's 1828 dictionary defines distract as to draw or drag
apart and separate, to turn away from any object. To distract the
mind with cares.  Have you ever tried to deeply concentrate on a
book while someone was chattering away right beside you or a t.v.
was blaring nearby?  Basically impossible.  How well could you
focus on the road if someone in the back seat kept slapping you
on the side of your head?  You need quiet and isolation to get
into the deepest kind of focus.  This is why our Lord often stole
away from people and noise so He could *KNOW* the Father.  You
would never think to be intimate with your husband or wife unless
you were alone and removed from all other people and noise that
could distract you from one another.  This is the kind of
intimacy the Lord desires to share with you and wants you to
desire.  Earlier I said one of the benefits of knowing and
being known by God is instruction. Look at what happened to and
for Moses when he was alone with God. The Lord said He would
put His words in Moses mouth and be with him and teach him. This
was the result of being alone in un-distracted intimacy with God.

God wants your UN-WAVERING affection

To waver means to totter or reel, to be in danger of falling.
It means to be double-minded between two different things.
God has a very specific and serious warning for people with that
mindset:  "For let not that man think that he shall receive any
thing of the Lord." Jas 1:7   It is completely contrary to what
we hope for and desire in life, to be double-minded.  It is time
to put away all distractions, forget everything that competes
with your affections for a burning desire for HIM.  God, Himself
has said that for those who have this kind of consuming passion
for Him, no good thing will be withheld. Psa 84:11  He will add
ALL THINGS (good and needful) to you in this life if you will
get the Un-Religion.

Listen to the Master's invitation:

  "WAIT and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters;
  and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy
  [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without
  price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing].
  Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and
  your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to
  Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in
  fatness [the profuseness of spiritual joy]. Incline your ear
  [submit and consent to the divine will] and come to Me; hear,
  and your soul will revive; and I will make an everlasting
  covenant or league with you, even the sure mercy (kindness,
  goodwill, and compassion) promised to David." Isa 55:1-3 AMP

Two things are needful for intimacy with the Lord:

Time alone (undistracted, undivided, unwavering) in prayer and
in His Word.

  "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when
  thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret;
  and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."
  Mat 6:6

  "Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to
  doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given
  thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the
  presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to
  them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto
  thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing
  this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee."
  1Ti 4:13-16

The Un-Religion... unlike any religion.  Intimacy with Him!
