I thank you so much for your counsel and your teaching. I
especially thank you for the book on Deliverance. I trembled
reading it, because my conviction about so many of the
things in it were so great and so spot on.  Truly, one
cannot run from God. He is there every step of the way.

Some of the things that I thought were too painful to ever
deal with got turned up big time.  The time has finally come
to act and speak as a mature Christian.  Did I like
everything that i read in this book? HECK NO!!!!  Was
everything that I have read so far for my betterment and the
pruning of my sinful nature? YES. As badly as it hurt, again
I thank you.

In spite of my marriage falling apart, I am happy to be in
the Lord's service. IT wouldn't have happened if I was in
marital bliss. Now I am in happiness of another sort, that
no man or woman can take away.

As this particular directive reads, I too shall persevere to
the end. Though this vision tarries, yet will I wait for it.

Dear Brother-in-Christ,

First and foremost I would like to thank God for giving me
life in and through your ministry through its insightful
messages, advice and comfort, at a time when I was totally
lost, desperate and hurt with my strangled relationship. I
am sure the good God will surely bless you brother Elijah
and your team for the wonderful work you have been doing to
this hurting world. May God keep you and your team in peace
and good health and may He use this ministry for his purpose
in a mighty way.

Today's message was a confirmation of what God was speaking
to me. I thank God and give Him all the glory, honor and

relationship with my wife is improving. We talk alot more
and get together lot more.. We hug and kiss each other..I
pray for this feeling to continue and that the restoration

Whose Authority?

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to
obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin
unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Rom 6:16

Every Word of God is pure (Pro 30:5) and this is a very
important principle.  It is a principle that ties directly
to the matter of demon control as well as blindly following
blind guides. (See Mat 15)  Jesus had many encounters with
the religious leaders of the day. Those who were held in
great respect or even awe by the "common" people.  In
today's language we might hear them (the common people)
referred to as laity?

These so-called leaders of the day then were no different
than the so-called leaders of the day now.  Blind guides.
The Word of our Lord admonishes us to be careful not to
follow blind leaders.  If we do, we will both fall into
a ditch.  Literally, what that means is to come under
condemnation.  The Greek dictionary uses this term to
explain:  "those overcome by terror or astonishment or grief
or under the attack of an evil spirit or of falling dead
suddenly."

Not only that, but we will become servants (slaves) to the
bad doctrines, ungodly practices and deception which results
from being in such a state.  A perfect example of this very
principle is the incredible state of affairs in "the church"
concerning divorce.  One of the subjects we will be
discussing on the radio show tomorrow is the matter of
so-called pastors who give counsel either supporting or
directing those who are dis-satisfied for one reason or
another with their mates to divorce them.  The idea that a
man (or woman) who claims the title of pastor would counsel
someone to divorce or even support their desire to divorce
is, I am sure, an abomination to Jehovah God.

Let me ask you a pointed question:

Do you think that counseling someone to pursue divorce
rather than forgiveness and reconciliation is bringing
together the "sheep" of the Lord?  or is it "scattering?"

The Lord has a specific word for these religious "leaders"

23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the
sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. 2 Therefore thus saith
the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my
people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away,
and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the
evil of your doings, saith the LORD. 3 And I will gather
the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have
driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and
they shall be fruitful and increase. 4 And I will set up
shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall
fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be
lacking, saith the LORD.  Jer 23:1-4
