Why Pain

Before you read this, understand that Yahushua is called the
"rock of offence" (Rom 9:33) and the Scriptures say that the
cross is an offence and foolishness to those THAT ARE
PERISHING. (Gal 5:11, 1Co 1:18)  If this message offends you
then you might fearfully consider whether you are standing
on sand or the rock.  We hope to provoke in love the
children of Yahweh to action not to offend... yet there will
be those who are simply offended.

Some years ago I met a man who had been to Vietnam twice.
His first tour in Vietnam brought home the powerful and
deadly reality of the cost to ALL of war.  As we sat in his
dining room and discussed other business, he decided to
share a story with me.  He was aware of my work as a
minister of the gospel so he gave me his unique perspective
on the matter of responsibility and accountability.  You
might call it the gospel according to Jimmy.  Jimmy was a
very courageous man who had looked death in the eyes many
times and was still here on the earth.  He gave up one war,
the U.S./Vietnam war for another, the war against tyranny
right here at home.  The players are powerful, the stakes
are high, the cost is immeasurable.  I spent many hours
last night dealing with some of the cost of that war.  It
wasn't until 4 a.m. that I was able to get free and go to
sleep.

This was Jimmy's little story...

   "I was stuck in a foxhole along with the rest of my unit
   and we were guarding a hill that was part of a larger
   perimeter that encompassed our base camp. 'Charlie' (the
   Vietcong) had been probing us all night and the attacks
   upon our hill were especially vicious that night.  I was
   19 and the fellow in the foxhole with me was 18.  During
   one of the firefights my foxhole buddy took a round
   through the head and died right beside me.  I had seen
   many deaths already and I angrily screamed at God... "why
   are You letting this happen to people?" and I will never,
   ever forget what happened next. I heard a voice, like I
   have never heard before and the voice said to me in
   audible sound... "I'm not letting this happen, YOU are."
   Jimmy told me he would never forget those words.

If you have been to the radio portion of our website then
surely you have seen the "cartoon" there.  There are two
of Yahweh's creatures talking and the first says..

"Sometimes I'd like to ask God why He allows poverty, famine
and injustice when He could do something about it."

The other retorts:     "What's stopping you?"

The first sheepishly answers:  "I'm afraid He might ask me
the same question."

Listen to the Sacred Scriptures as they give us a glimpse
of Yahweh's heart regarding this matter:

  "Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will
  stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?"
                                               Psa 94:16

  "Also I heard the voice of Yahweh, saying, Whom shall I
  send, and who will go for us?" Isa 6:8

  "For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the
  anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the
  voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that
  spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is
  wearied because of murderers. Run ye to and fro through the
  streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in
  the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be
  any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I
  will pardon it." Jer 4:31-5:1

I have often heard the words, "you're too serious", "you
are too intense" or "you need to lighten up."  It is not easy
or likely that I will lighten up based on the pain I have seen,
experienced and even caused.  The price is too high for us
to take a LUKEWARM attitude about these things.  The cost
is too high and the destruction is too serious.  Do you not
know that Yahushua testified against us when He said:

   "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I
   would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art
   lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out
   of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased
   with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that
   thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and
   naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire,
   that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou
   mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do
   not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou
   mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be
   zealous therefore, and repent.

This is the TRUE Gospel friends.  Our relationship with the
Master is NOT UNCONDITIONAL.  He calls and He commands that
we REPENT (which means to change our thinking and thus our
ACTIONS).  He commands us to "be zealous" and to "overcome."

  "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white
  raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book
  of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and
  before his angels." Rev 3:5

We are SEEKING... both in prayer to the Master and by other
means to see if we can find a man IF THERE BE ANY that
executes judgement and seeks truth.

Will you be that man?

Or will you sit and watch as a godless system takes away
your children and takes away the children of Yahweh and
turns them over to Ba'al.  Will you continue to sit idly by
while the unborn are slaughtered to the tune of thousands
each day.  Will you do nothing when it was in the power of
your hands to DO SOMETHING???
