Last night we had the opportunity to telephone the husband
of a woman who has been spending time in the ministry room
or coming to teleconferences for about six months now.  Her
husband was calling girlfriends from the house, more or less
in front of her.  When she realized what he was doing, he
would lock himself in a room so he could talk to his
girlfriends.  There has been a steady gradual improvement
and last night myself and our women's outreach captain
called her house and asked her to hand the phone to him.
This was un-rehearsed and un-planned.  I believe it was the
movement of the Holy Spirit.  We confronted him with his sin
and the inevitable destination.  The fruit of this call was
a pledge on his part to work with me and make an honest
effort to repent and walk in obedience to the heavenly
Father.  The fruit of faith in Him by a wife who has been
learning how to walk by faith and not by sight.  Please pray
for us as we "gently instruct those who oppose themselves"
looking to the Father to grant them repentance unto the
acknowledging of the truth so they may recover themselves
out of the snare of the devil who has taken them captive to
do his will.

This is the same woman who wrote on 9/24/06:::

Our God is mighty!  My husband is home after telling me he
was going to file for divorce less than 2 months ago.

Our God is awesome! My husband has basically been home since
that day but giving himself the freedom to stay elsewhere as
he chose.  When home, he slept on the couch.  Then suddenly
God acted & my husband moved back into our bedroom.

We have a 5 month old daughter whom we are adopting but it
had been put on hold due to his refusal to follow-through.
If he had continued to refuse, we would have had to divorce
so I could keep her.  But God showed His faithfulness to
fulfill the promise He made to me that He would not let this
happen.  My husband said yesterday that he wants to proceed
with the adoption. I had really been praying about this as
it was down to the wire for proceeding.  God spoke to me
about it & He delivered on His promise!

This marriage still needs a great deal of healing.  My
husband still has issues for which he needs to repent & be
delivered but I know our God is faithful, merciful &
gracious.  He is drawing my husband closer every moment.
I'm excitedly awaiting the day that he turns his whole life
over to Christ!

Know this... God is listening to & answering your prayers!
He will not let you down.  Stand firm! He holds you up every
step of the way all he asks is that you believe & trust in
His promises to you.

If your prayers seem not to be heard or answered it is a
very good thing to EXAMINE YOURSELF TO SEE IF YOU ARE IN
THE FAITH.. (2Co 13:5)

I want to give a praise this morning.  My husband came home
Monday.  He has been in and out several times, I ask that
you help me pray.  He started a Daniel fast yesterday and I
can tell he wants to get closer to the Lord, but the OW is
also trying to get him back I'm sure...

I know the Lord is working and I thank you so much for your
prayers and for the talk the other day.  It opened my eyes
and though I still have trouble, I am honest with the Lord
and in His perfect time I will be ok.

A Boasting Axe

"My _______________ (husband/wife.. fill in blank) has a
free will, so I am resigned to suffer and wish because
everyone knows that we cannot and GOD CANNOT violate a
person's free will."

   "Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth
   therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him
   that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against
   them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up
   itself, as if it were no wood." Isa 10:15

Recently, I was reading and came across a comment by the
author which said: "Those, however, who believe that man has
a free will effectively are indicating that they do not
trust Christ..."  The longer I live and the more time I
spend in the Word of God, the more I see clearly that God is
sovereign over all the affairs of man.  His will alone is
"free."  He alone is Sovereign.  Not only CAN HE turn man's
heart like the rivers of whater, whithersoever HE will (Pro
21:1) but He DOES!  And He does far more often than most
ever even consider, much less give Him the credit He is due.

I have said this before; we all grow up being indoctrinated.
The people who insist the most on the matter of free will are
the ones who are most indoctrinated.  They fail to see that
THEY are products of indoctrination, from birth.  God says
this very thing to us when He says in His Word: "..be not
conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good,
and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Rom 12:2

Contrary to the "popular" teaching and interpretation, we
may clearly see from the Holy Scriptures that we who belong
to the Messiah, Yahshua are not to put ourselves in
subjection to the laws of the state. (A poor understanding
of Romans 13:1-7) nor in any way, yield or be like "the
world."  We are not to keep their traditions, customs, laws,
practices, philosophies, rituals, rules, fables, or any
other thing.  In fact, we are clearly commanded by our
Master to "come out" from this world and be separate.
Webster's 1828 Dictionary defines conform as follows:

CONFORM,
  1. To make like
  2. To comply with or yield to; to live or act according to;
     as, to conform to the custom.
  3. To comply with; to obey; as, to conform to the laws of
     the state.

Yet, in the Holy Scriptures in Romans 12 shown above we are
clearly commanded from above and from within (if we belong
to Messiah) NOT to be conformed.  It is the world who
teaches and preaches the psychology of SELF.  This is where
SELF-will or "free-will" comes from.  A supposed "free-will"
is a self-exalted will.  It is a will that is contrary to
the mind of Messiah.  It is a CARNAL mind which "is enmity
against God: for it is not subject to the law of God,
neither indeed can be."  Yes, friends, it is a will that is
hell-bent on destruction.

Nevertheless, we were ALL hell-bent on destruction and had
it in our NATURE, that Adamic nature which we inherited and
were ruled by, hopeless and without any means to save
ourselves.  We were hell-bent on destruction before we
became the possession of the Savior, "Who hath saved us, and
called us with an holy calling, not according to our works,
but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given
us in Christ Jesus before the world began" 2Ti 1:9

And again; "Not by works of righteousness which we have
done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing
of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; Which he
shed on us abundantly through Yahshua Messiah our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs
according to the hope of eternal life. Tit 3:5-7

The author of that book I was reading and made reference to
earlier surely had it right friend.  I will remind you what
he wrote:

   "Those, however, who believe that man has a free will
    effectively are indicating that they do not trust
    Christ..."

these principles and the truth concerning how our heavenly
Father is the only Free-Will Agent and is Sovereign over
ALL the affairs of man.  He is not responsible for the
poor decisions that people make, because He has given us
the ability to make choices and WE MUST CHOOSE well.  But
never let it be believed by your mind that He is not able
to engineer His will, bring answers to the prayers of the
righteous, turn the hearts of man or do anything He pleases
because He alone is the ALMIGHTY...

   "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so
   also the soul of the son is mine" Eze 18:4
